The Housing Authority of the County of Alameda (HACA) operates a number of housing programs administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development that provide low-cost rental housing or rental assistance for low-income families, the elderly, people with disabilities, and others, in much of Alameda County.

Contact HACA by phone from 8:00 A.M. to 4:45 P.M. any business day. HACA's business office at 22941 Atherton St., Hayward, is open from 10:00 A.M. to 4:45 P.M. each business day. Visitors are seen by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Appointments can be made onsite. HACA is closed every other Friday.
Check the HACA Events Listing and the full calendar link on the left to confirm that we're open for business and for information about scheduled events like Housing Commission meetings, and Family Self-Sufficiency workshops.
