Beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2023, HACA’s lobby will be opened from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday thru Thursday only. The lobby is closed on Fridays. Meetings with HACA employees are by appointment only.

HACA WAITLIST IS NOW CLOSED

HACA stopped accepting pre-applications for our waitlist. If you applied in April or May 2024, HACA will contact you via postcard no later than August 31, 2024, explaining if you were selected from the lottery and placed on the waitlist.  Keep your application confirmation number until you receive a postcard.

SCAM ALERT: HACA has been made aware of several scams via email and printed flyers indicating that HACA’s waitlist is open or will be opening soon. HACA’s waitlist is currently closed. HACA will advertise waitlist openings at www.haca.net and at (510) 538-8876 extension 1. DO NOT PAY MONEY TO APPLY FOR OR RECEIVE A SECTION 8 HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER.

HACA Housing Commission

The Housing Commission’s regular meeting scheduled for Wednesday, July 10, 2024 is cancelled.

A special meeting of the HACA Housing Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. in the HACA Board Room located at 22941 Atherton Street in Hayward.

Landlord Partner Access gives our landlords online access to their HAP (Housing Assistance Payment) statements and HAP histories via the Internet. Landlord Access provides even better service and convenience, since a landlord can view their entire HAP histories, not just the current payment, and can do so 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
